CCTV Control Room Operator

As a CCTV Operator, your role involves monitoring live and recorded CCTV footage to detect unusual or suspicious activity. You will be responsible for ensuring that all cameras and recording equipment are functioning properly at all times. In case of incidents or security concerns, you are expected to promptly report to the Security Manager or relevant authorities. Additionally, maintaining logs and records of activities, incidents, and equipment checks will be a part of your daily tasks. During emergencies or incidents, coordination with on-ground security staff is crucial. Preserving video evidence and assisting in investigations when required are also key responsibilities. It is essential to follow company policies and confidentiality standards while handling security footage. Routine checks of control room systems need to be conducted, and any technical issues should be reported promptly. Furthermore, you will support in implementing safety and security procedures across the premises. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage to detect unusual or suspicious activity. - Ensure all cameras and recording equipment are functioning properly at all times. - Report incidents or security concerns to the Security Manager or relevant authorities promptly. - Maintain logs and records of activities, incidents, and equipment checks. - Coordinate with on-ground security staff during emergencies or incidents. - Preserve video evidence and assist in investigations when required. - Follow company policies and confidentiality standards while handling security footage. - Conduct routine checks of control room systems and report technical issues. - Support in implementing safety and security procedures across the premises. Qualifications Required: - Minimum qualification: Diploma / ITI / +2 or any equivalent qualification. - Prior experience in CCTV monitoring or security operations preferred. - Basic knowledge of surveillance systems and security protocols. - Good observation, communication, and reporting skills. - Ability to remain alert and focused during long monitoring hours. - Familiarity with computers and CCTV software operation. - Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you will be working in a control room-based position with rotational shifts as per the company schedule.
