C/C++ Developer with Linux

Role & responsibilities

• Developer will develop high quality software which is robust and efficient based on understanding the overall webOS TV Broadcast receiver software architecture.
• As a developer, she/he will ensure software deliverables meet agreed-upon milestones and pre-established quality metrics.
• As a developer, responsible and adhere to SW engineering project schedules, task priorities for on-time SW deliverables and milestones.
• Design, development, testing, and maintenance of the webOS TV Broadcast receiver software to a level that meets or exceeds the SW quality expectations of the webOS Platform
• Ensuring that the code is written in a manner that is easily understood, is well documented, and follows department standards for writing code.
• Adhering to agile process and methodologies as defined by the hiring department.

Preferred candidate profile

• Mandatory
•  4 ~ 7 years as SW developer strong experience in C/C++ programming skills in embedded Linux systems
•  4 ~ 7 years strong understanding in Linux/RTOS and system programming
•  Strong understanding of version control systems (GIT.)
• Preferred
• Development experience in Digital TV(DTV) Domain, hands on experience on set-top box TV receiver broadcast stack
• Strong knowledge on Broadcast standards & specification (DVB/ATSC/ISDB)
