As a Cath Lab Incharge at Naruvi Hospitals, Vellore, you will play a crucial role in supervising and coordinating all day-to-day activities of the Cath Lab. Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising and coordinating all day-to-day activities of the Cath Lab, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to clinical protocols. - Assisting cardiologists during interventional procedures including angiograms, angioplasty, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiological studies. - Ensuring availability and proper functioning of Cath Lab equipment and consumables. - Managing Cath Lab staff schedules, training, and performance monitoring. - Monitoring compliance with infection control standards and patient safety guidelines. - Maintaining accurate documentation related to procedures, inventory, equipment maintenance, and patient care. - Overseeing emergency readiness of the Cath Lab, ensuring quick turnaround during acute cases. - Conducting regular audits and participating in quality improvement programs within the department. - Coordinating with Biomedical, Nursing, and Admin teams to address equipment issues and resource planning. - Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in Cath Lab procedures and technologies. Qualifications required for this role include: - B.Sc. in Cardiac Technology / Diploma in Cath Lab Technology or relevant allied health science qualification. - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Cath Lab procedures, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or in-charge role. - Strong understanding of Cath Lab operations, cardiovascular anatomy, and interventional protocols. - Leadership qualities with excellent decision-making and team management skills. - Good communication skills in English and Tamil (preferred). Desirable attributes include exposure to working in a NABH-accredited hospital environment, ability to handle emergency cases efficiently, and a commitment to patient care, safety, and service quality.
