Category Management Analyst

Role Overview: As a Data Analyst at bp's Customers & Products business area in Pune, India, you will support the US Convenience in achieving growth goals by providing analysis and recommendations to increase sales, reduce operational costs, and improve returns on invested capital. Your role will involve performing analysis focused on retail initiatives and supporting various groups within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Analyzing data or information to identify underlying principles and provide valuable analyses to departmental groups and committees - Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work to develop specific goals and plans - Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships to develop constructive working partnerships - Performance tracking, test analysis, and reporting to analyze the impact of marketing, loyalty, and merchandising programs - Case development, test planning & design to assist in optimizing loyalty activity and marketing campaigns - Presentation of data & analysis in a clear and concise manner, communicating findings and recommendations to functional areas - Forecasting & budgeting to participate in long-term forecasting and planning Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or relevant subject area - Retail experience is helpful - Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint & Outlook - Experience with APT, PowerBI, and/or SQL is beneficial Additional Details: This full-time position at bp's Customers & Products business area in Pune, India will require you to work in US shift timings from 3pm to 12am IST. The role does not involve any travel and is not available for remote working. You will collaborate with Category Managers, Marketing and Loyalty offer development teams, Category Management leadership, Technology team, and Data analytics leadership.
