Job Description

As the Category Head for White Spirits at Indobevs, you will be responsible for overseeing the P&L of the white spirits category. Your main objectives will include driving top-line growth, enhancing bottom-line performance, and achieving market leadership for the portfolio, which consists of premium vodka, gin, and other white spirits. To excel in this role, you must exhibit strategic leadership, possess a profound understanding of the Indian spirits/white spirits market, and demonstrate a keen ability to implement category-specific growth strategies effectively. To be successful in this position, you should ideally have 5-8 years of experience in FMCG, Alcohol, or New Age D2C Brands with a proven track record in managing spirits or a closely related category. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required, while an MBA is preferred. Your role will require you to bring several key qualities to the table. These include a strong grasp of consumer behavior, particularly among Gen Z and Millennials, along with the capability to identify emerging trends. You should be a data-driven decision-maker focused on ROI and maximizing category performance, possess leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively, exhibit strategic thinking to develop innovative growth strategies, and have a genuine passion for white spirits with knowledge of premiumization trends in the category. As the Category Head, your responsibilities will encompass developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for the white spirits category to ensure long-term growth. You will collaborate closely with the product development team to introduce new and innovative products that align with evolving consumer demands. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating robust marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and market leadership, optimizing distribution channels for visibility in both modern and traditional trade, and overseeing the financial performance to meet revenue and profitability goals. Your performance will be evaluated based on various metrics, including revenue growth and market share for the white spirits category, successful launches of new products, efficiency in budget management and marketing ROI, as well as channel presence and distribution effectiveness.,
