Roles and Responsibilities: -
• Understanding and preparing exposure data for multiple lines of business
• Data cleansing, enhancing and analysis of COPE information
• Working on complex and large datasets using MS-Excel
• Validating exposure data against set RMS/AIR guidelines
• Geo-coding the exposure data using RiskLink/TS
• Understanding of Insurance terminologies
• Applying financial policy terms in the models for perils covered
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Enhance efficiency of the process by continuously evaluating and improving the end-to-end
catastrophe modeling process
• Understand and interpret model results, model differences and limitations and provide risk
specific observation to the underwriter
• Proactive communication with stakeholders on modelling requirements and ad-hoc requests
Preferred Skills/ Knowledge: -
• 2-3 years experience in the field of Cat modelling.
• Modeling expertise in RMS RiskLink/AIR Touchstone
• Good working knowledge of SQL, MS-Office Word, Excel and Access
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills
