Casualty Medical Officer

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) provides frontline medical care, ensures continuous patient monitoring, and supports consultants in delivering high-quality healthcare services. With 2–3 years of hospital experience, the RMO is expected to demonstrate clinical maturity, handle emergencies effectively, and maintain seamless coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Diagnose, treat, and monitor patients admitted in wards, ICUs, and OPDs.
• Emergency Response: Attend to urgent medical cases, stabilize patients, and escalate to specialists when required.
• Clinical Procedures: Perform routine medical interventions and assist consultants in complex procedures.
• Rounds & Monitoring: Conduct regular patient rounds, review treatment progress, and update care plans.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, histories, and treatment notes in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with nursing staff, diagnostic teams, and allied health professionals for integrated patient care.
• Compliance: Uphold infection control, patient safety, and ethical medical practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the Medical Council.
• 2–3 years of hospital-based clinical experience (preferably in emergency, critical care, or general medicine).
• Availability: Provide continuous onsite presence during duty hours, including rotational shifts.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
