Responsibilities:
Greeting customers and providing a positive shopping experience.
Assisting customers with finding products, answering questions, and resolving issues.
Offering product recommendations and suggesting additional items.
Operating cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Processing payments (cash, credit/debit cards, etc.) and issuing receipts.
Managing cash drawers, making change, and balancing transactions.
Ensuring accurate pricing and scanning items for purchase.
Processing returns and exchanges.
Maintaining visual merchandising standards and assisting with restocking.
May participate in sales promotions and meet sales goals.
Keeping the sales floor and checkout area clean and organized.
Assisting with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory.
Following store policies and procedures.
