Job Title: Cashier

Job Description

A Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves processing payments, assisting customers, maintaining a clean checkout area, and ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded in accordance with company policies.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Cashier

Greet customers politely and professionally.
Process payments (cash, card, digital methods).
Issue receipts, refunds, and correct change.
Maintain accuracy of the cash register.
Balance cash drawer at the start and end of shifts.
Assist customers with questions, returns, and exchanges.
Resolve minor customer complaints.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
Follow company policies, safety, and security procedures.

Qualification & Skills

Any Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cashier or in a similar customer service role
Basic math and calculation skills
Ability to handle cash and electronic payments
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work accurately and efficiently
Basic computer or POS (Point of Sale) system knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
