Job Description

The Restaurant Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately, maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and supporting the restaurant’s front-of-house operations. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service at the counter or billing desk. Accurately handle cash, credit/debit card, and UPI transactions using the POS system. Issue receipts, refunds, or change as necessary. Maintain proper cash register balance and prepare daily sales reports. Communicate orders to the kitchen team clearly and ensure timely delivery. Manage take-away and online order payments (Zomato, Swiggy, etc.). Keep the billing counter area clean, organized, and presentable. Assist with answering phone calls or taking customer queries. Coordinate with the manager and service team to ensure smooth operations.
