Job Description

You are responsible for managing all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Your role involves using cash registers to handle transactions, scanning goods to ensure accurate pricing, issuing receipts, refunds, change or tickets, redeeming stamps and coupons, cross-selling products, and introducing new ones. In addition, you are expected to resolve customer complaints, provide guidance and relevant information, greet customers, maintain clean checkout areas, track transactions on balance sheets, report any discrepancies, bag, box or gift-wrap packages, and handle merchandise returns and exchanges. To excel in this role, you should have work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar sales role, possess basic PC knowledge, be familiar with electronic equipment like cash registers and POS systems, have good math skills, strong communication and time management skills, and be customer satisfaction-oriented. A high school degree is required for this position. This is a full-time and permanent job that involves working day shifts and morning shifts. The work location is in Mohali, Punjab, and reliable commuting or planning to relocate before starting work is preferred. The preferred education qualification is Higher Secondary (12th Pass), and prior experience of 5 years in retail cashier role is preferred for this position.,
