Cashier / Accountant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining inventory records, providing exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies, and assisting with financial reporting and audits. This is a full-time position that requires you to work in person at the specified location. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers warmly and issue accurate bills/receipts for purchases, ensuring detailed descriptions of products. - Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions and assist with verifying and updating inventory records. - Handle returns, exchanges, or refunds as per company policies and provide information about product features to customers. - Handle cash transactions carefully, ensure accurate counting and recording of money, and maintain the security of the cash register. - Follow procedures for dealing with large transactions, comply with legal and company policies related to the sale of gems and jewellery, and report any suspicious activities. - Assist with end-of-day financial reporting and audits, collaborating with the finance or accounting department as required.
