Carpenter

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in woodwork, framing, cabinetry, and finishing. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Carpentry Tools' Knowledge, Carpentry, Wood carving, Woodcraft, Carpentry tools, Wooden joinery, Wood cutting, Hand engraving, Furniture making

Read and interpret drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools.

Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, drywall, and hardware.

Build frameworks and doorframes.

Should posses knowledge of turning on lathe machine.

Candidate with knowledge & experience of hand carving will be preferred.

Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.

Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and other construction professionals.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.

Proficient in using woodworking machines, electrical and manual hand tools (saws, squares, levels, chisels, drills, etc.).

Ability to read technical documents and drawings.

Candidate must be able to read a measuring tape.

Knowledge of wood properties and other construction materials.

Physical strength, stamina, and dexterity.

Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program preferred.

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor construction sites.

Physically demanding, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Goa, Goa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
