Job Description

A car wash attendant's primary responsibility is to ensure vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, both inside and out, to meet customer expectations. This includes tasks like washing, waxing, vacuuming, and drying vehicles, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Elaboration:Cleaning and Maintenance: Exterior Cleaning: Washing vehicles with brushes, power washers, and various cleaning solutions. Interior Cleaning: Vacuuming, shampooing seats and carpets, and cleaning windows and windshields. Waxing and Drying: Applying wax and using air compressors or cloths to dry the exterior. Facility Maintenance: Cleaning the wash area, restock cleaning supplies, and address any equipment issues. Customer Service: Greeting Customers: Welcoming customers and explaining available car wash services. Addressing Inquiries: Answering customer questions and addressing any concerns. Ensuring Satisfaction: Providing attentive service and ensuring customers are happy with the results. Other Responsibilities: Equipment Operation: Operating car wash equipment safely and efficiently, including pre-soaking and cleaning machines. Shop Maintenance: Performing light shop maintenance duties as needed. Safety: Maintaining a safe work environment by following safety protocols. Collaboration: Working with team members to ensure smooth operations.
