Car Mechanic

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automobile Car Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain various vehicle systems and components. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with petrol and/or diesel vehicles, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and diagnose vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical issues Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, brake checks, tire rotation, battery inspection) Repair or replace faulty parts (brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning systems, etc.) Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle problems Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs Maintain records of maintenance and repair work Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about repairs and maintenance needs Required Skills and Qualifications: ITI/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or relevant certification Proven experience as an automobile mechanic or technician In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and mechanical components Familiarity with modern repair tools and equipment Ability to work under pressure and follow deadlines Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license (preferred) Preferred Qualities: Experience with specific vehicle brands (e.g., Maruti, Hyundai, Honda, etc.) Knowledge of BS6-compliant engines and EV/hybrid systems Customer service-oriented mindset Team player with good communication skills Salary: [Mention range or "As per industry standards"] Benefits: [ overtime, training, uniforms, etc.] Let me know if you want a version tailored for a workshop, dealership, fleet maintenance, or electric vehicle service role.
