Job Description

" Car Driver Location: Onsite at Thane, Maharashtra, India Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate and drive cars in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations.
Ensure the neat and clean maintenance of the vehicle, both interior and exterior, at all times.
Perform routine checks on the vehicle, including fuel, oil, water, lights, and tires.
Transport passengers or goods to destinations as per the scheduled routes and within specified timelines.
Assist passengers with loading and unloading of luggage if required.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, expenses, and service reports.
Recognize and report mechanical issues or other maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
Follow schedules and instructions given by supervisors or those in charge of transportation coordination.
Exhibit courteous and professional demeanor towards passengers and other road users.
Secure all types of loads correctly and ensure the safety of passengers.

Required Qualifications:

Valid driving license with authorization for automatic vehicle driving.
Proven experience as a car driver, particularly in an automatic vehicle setting.
Comprehensive understanding of traffic rules and regulations within the region of Thane and broader Maharashtra.
Outstanding navigational skills with proficiency in using navigation applications to determine optimal travel routes.
Ability to communicate effectively in Hindi, Marathi, and rudimentary English.
Strong commitment to cleanliness and regular maintenance of the vehicle.
Excellent physical condition to perform tasks such as changing tires or transporting luggage.
Punctuality and reliability in terms of timing and schedule adherence.
High professional ethics, with a focus on passenger confidentiality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport passengers or cargo from pick-up points to designated locations.
Regularly clean the vehicle inside and outside to maintain hygiene and good condition.
Identify any vehicle problems and arrange for timely repairs/maintenance.
Keep up to date with routes, including noticing road closures and detours.
Provide excellent customer service to passengers, responding to requests and providing information as necessary.
Manage paperwork and receipts accurately for all vehicular and travel activities.
Complete daily maintenance checks to ensure the proper functioning of the automobile.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and maintenance.
