The role entails conducting financial audits, reviews, and compilations in compliance with Canadian auditing standards (CAS) and GAAP. Candidates should possess expertise in auditing, familiarity with Canadian GAAP, and proficiency with audit tools like CaseWare. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across borders. Key responsibilities include executing audit assignments by conducting testing procedures, preparing comprehensive audit reports and documentation, and analyzing financial statements for inconsistencies. The role also involves client communication with Canadian clients to gather necessary data and provide updates, as well as collaborating with the Canadian audit team for seamless execution. Qualifications for the position include a minimum of 2 years of audit experience, preferably with Canadian clients or in a public accounting firm. Candidates should hold a Semi Qualified CA / Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent professional qualification. Proficient knowledge of Canadian GAAP and auditing standards, familiarity with CaseWare software, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities are required. The role also requires adaptability, as candidates must be willing to work shifts that overlap with Canadian business hours.
