Camunda Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Camunda BPMN and DMN developer with at least 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing business process automation solutions using Camunda. The candidate will have a strong understanding of BPMN standards, workflow automation, Java/Springboot integration, and REST-based microservices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining/optimizing various business process workflows using Camunda BPM based on customer requirements. You will work closely with client and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy BPMN, and DMN models using Camunda Platform.

- Integrate Camunda workflows with external systems via REST APIs, Java, or Spring Boot services.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into executable workflows.

- Develop and maintain reusable process components and automation frameworks.

- Implement and manage process orchestration, task management, and rule execution.

- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot process instances and job executions.

- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.

- Support production deployments and resolve workflow-related issues.

- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for Camunda deployments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Camunda BPM (7.x or 8.x) and Zeebe Engine.

- Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0, DMN, and CMMN modeling standards.

- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.

- Expertise with Camunda Modeler, Cockpit, and Tasklist.

- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Good hands-on understanding of Git and version control systems (e.g. Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, etc).

- Good understanding of DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes (preferred).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Knowledge of process optimization, workflow analytics, and monitoring tools.

- Certification in Camunda or BPM technologies (a plus).

- Experience working in Agile mode with Scrum/Kanban and should be familiar with Agile tools like JIRA etc.

- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
