Cameraman and Editor

Position: Cameraman / Videographer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a detailed oriented Cameraman is responsible for operating the camera during filming and capturing high-quality visual content that aligns with the creative direction of the production. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced media environments.

Responsibilities

1. Camera Operation

• Operate professional cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, Cinema Cameras) for shoots.
• Capture high-quality videos for advertisements, YouTube content, interviews, events, documentaries, short films, and corporate shoots.
• Ensure correct framing, focus, exposure, and composition for each shot.

2. Shot Planning & Execution

• Work closely with the Director and DOP to understand shot requirements and visual style.
• Set up shots based on scripts, storyboards, and production notes.
• Execute smooth camera movements using sliders, gimbals, stabilizers, cranes, and rigs.

3. Lighting Coordination

• Coordinate with the lighting team to achieve the required mood and look.
• Adjust camera settings based on lighting conditions (ISO, shutter speed, aperture, white balance).
• Assist in setting up lights when required.

4. Equipment Handling

• Assemble and maintain camera equipment, lenses, tripods, rigs, and accessories.
• Ensure batteries, memory cards, and backups are ready before every shoot.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during filming.

5. On-Set Collaboration

• Work closely with actors, presenters, and clients to capture the required content.
• Communicate clearly with assistant cameramen and production crew.
• Follow instructions quickly and adapt to changing shoot conditions.

6. Visual Quality & Creative Input

• Suggest creative angles, compositions, and movements to enhance storytelling.
• Maintain consistency in visual style across episodes or campaigns.
• Ensure footage meets the technical requirements for post-production.

Requirements

• Knowledge of DSLR / Mirrorless cameras and video accessories.
• Basic understanding of lighting, audio, and cinematography.
• Ability to handle both indoor and outdoor shoots.
• Creative eye for visual storytelling and camera angles.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with editing software (like Premiere Pro or Final Cut) is a plus.

Salary

• Based on experience and skill level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
