Job Description

Role & responsibilities

CAM Programming:

Develop accurate and efficient CNC programs for 3 to 4 axis VMC machines using industry-standard CAM software (e.g., NX CAM, Fusion 360, or equivalent).
Optimize machining strategies to ensure precision, reduce cycle times, and minimize tool wear.
Perform simulations and verifications of CAM programs to identify and resolve errors before production.

Fixture and Jig Manufacturing:

Design and develop jigs and fixtures for machining operations, ensuring compatibility with project requirements and machine capabilities.
Work on complex semiconductor fixture designs, adhering to tight tolerances and high precision standards.

Machine Setup and Operation:

Set up and operate VMC machines as needed, ensuring proper tooling, fixturing, and alignment for each job.
Conduct test runs to validate program accuracy and troubleshoot machining issues.

Collaboration and Documentation:

Collaborate with design and production teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on manufacturability.
Maintain accurate records of programs, setups, and process improvements.

Quality Control:

Inspect machined components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards using precision measuring tools.
Implement corrective measures for deviations in machining outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 2 to 8yrs Experience in Cam Programming and Setting also
