CAM Programmer – CNC Precision Components

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CAM Programmer who can independently plan, program, and optimise CNC machining operations for precision components. The ideal candidate should be able to translate complex mechanical designs into efficient CNC tool paths, ensuring quality, accuracy, and productivity in production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop CNC programs using CAM software.
• Analyse 2D drawings & 3D CAD models for machining feasibility.
• Define machining strategy, tool selection, cutting parameters, and setup sheets.
• Coordinate with the design and production teams for process optimization.
• Simulate and validate toolpaths before production to prevent collisions or tool breakage.
• Support machinists during setup and first-part approval.
• Continuously improve machining cycle times and surface finish.
• Maintain proper documentation for each job and program revision.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics.
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming and process planning.
• Strong understanding of 3-axis / 4-axis machining (5-axis knowledge is a plus).
• Proficient in G-code, M-code, and machining fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Siemens controllers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of fixtures, jigs, and cutting tool geometry.

Preferred Experience (Advantageous):

• Exposure to defence, aerospace, or high-precision manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO quality systems.

Richhai Industrial Area, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Adhartal, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
