Senior Golang Developer

Location:

As a Senior Golang Developer, you'll architect and build high-performance, scalable systems while leading development teams and driving technical excellence. You'll work closely with leadership to shape our Go technology strategy and mentor other developers.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop complex, distributed systems using Golang
• Lead the design and implementation of high-performance microservices
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for Go
• Drive performance optimization and scalability improvements
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on technical roadmaps
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies and approaches

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience with at least 4+ years in Golang
• Expert knowledge of Go language features, patterns, and best practices, GRPC, Go channel, Go routine, Go packaging
• Strong experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Deep understanding of performance optimization in Go
• Understanding and knowledge of RabbitMQ, Kafka or any other event-driven messaging service.
• Good understanding of YAML, JSON, and Swagger being a plus.
• Possesses strong knowledge and understanding of databases and database concepts, with experience in SQL databases like PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL. Familiar with GORM (Go Object-Relational Mapping).
• Experience with system design and architecture
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with high-load, high-performance systems
• Knowledge of advanced concurrency patterns in Go
• Experience with cloud-native application development
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Contributions to Go open-source projects
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Public speaking or technical writing experience
