As an Analyst in Mortgage Processing, you will be responsible for reviewing flood certifications, elevation certificates, property maps, and other relevant documents to determine the accuracy of flood zone designations. You will need to ensure regulatory compliance with federal regulations set by FEMA, NFIP, and other relevant agencies. Your role will involve assessing flood zone designations, verifying property locations in Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHAs), evaluating elevation certificates, cross-referencing information for data accuracy, and collaborating with various stakeholders for accurate flood risk assessments. Additionally, you will be expected to address discrepancies in flood certifications through research, communication, and proposing solutions. Staying updated on changes in flood mapping regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices is essential for accurate assessments. To be successful in this role, you must have familiarity with FEMA flood maps, NFIP regulations, flood zone designations, and elevation certificates. Attention to detail, analytical skills, strong communication abilities, computer proficiency, and adaptability to changes in regulations and technologies are key qualifications required for this position. This is a full-time position in Chennai with night shift timings from 7 pm to 4 am. As an Analyst in Mortgage Processing, you will report to the Assistant Manager and have no direct reports.
