Job Description

CAD Master

Key Responsibilities

Pattern Development (Manual & Digital)
: Lead
manual and digital pattern making
processes, utilizing expertise in software like
Tuka, Gerber, and Gemini
to create accurate and efficient patterns.
New Design Development
: Drive the
new design development
process from a pattern perspective, collaborating closely with design teams to bring concepts to life.
Alterations & Adjustments
: Perform precise
alterations
to existing patterns based on fit sessions, design changes, or production requirements, ensuring optimal fit and functionality.
Team Management
: Provide effective
team management
, mentoring and guiding junior pattern makers and fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Garment Construction Expertise
: Apply strong technical knowledge of
garment construction
to ensure patterns are technically sound, efficient for manufacturing, and result in high-quality finished products.
Quality & Efficiency
: Ensure all patterns contribute to product quality, reduce material waste, and optimize production efficiency.

Skills

Extensive experience in both
manual and digital pattern making

Proficiency in pattern making
software such as Tuka, Gerber, and Gemini
.
Proven ability in
new design development
and
alterations
.
Strong
team management
and leadership skills.
Technically strong and experienced in
garment construction
.
High attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CAD Master, Senior Pattern Maker, or similar role in the apparel or textile industry.
Relevant certifications or vocational training in pattern making and CAD software.
A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in diverse garment categories is preferred.
