CAD Engineer – Automation (SPM Machine Design)

Cogent Automation is seeking a talented CAD Engineer to join our design team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SolidWorks and a strong understanding of SPM (Special Purpose Machine) and automation system design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D and 2D designs using SolidWorks for automation systems and industrial machinery
• Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings with high accuracy
• Collaborate with design and automation teams for concept development and design validation
• Ensure all designs meet functional, manufacturing, and safety requirements
• Support design revisions and BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Sheet Metal modules)
• Good understanding of pneumatics, actuators, and machine components
• Knowledge of DFMA principles and basic mechanical design calculations
• Strong attention to detail and team collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
