CAD Drafter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) AutoCAD Draftsman to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining ELV systems with fire fighting drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software. The draftsman will collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed ELV system drawings including but not limited to:

• CCTV (VMS based)
• Access Control
• Public Address Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Structured Cabling/Data Networks
• BMS (Building Management Systems)
• NOVEC, WLD, VESDA, Rodent system.
• Sprinkler System design with calculation
• Fire fighting Hydrant and Pump Room design with calculation.
• Able to Generate shop drawings, Co-ordinated drawing with other services. as-built drawings, and schematic diagrams.
• candidate should be well versed with latest technologies used in the ELV system and its products for better understanding and implementation on the drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with local regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
• Work closely with the ELV engineering team to understand design intent and translate it into technical drawings.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or clients.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings and version control.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs and quantity estimations when required.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil) to resolve coordination drawing conflicts.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in ELV & Fire Fighting systems.
• Should be completed the Commercial / Residential / Industrial projects in the previous assignment for the entire ELV package.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and basic 3D).
• Familiarity with ELV systems and relevant international standards (BS, NFPA,NBC2016, NEC etc.).
• Able to understand the current technology in FAS, CCTV, PA,
• Knowledge of Revit or other BIM software is a plus.
• Understanding of electrical schematics and layout plans.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
