CAD BIM Technician - Civil - Bridges

As a highly skilled and experienced CAD Technician, you will be an integral part of our communities team, focusing on bridge design and construction projects. Your main responsibility will be to create detailed and accurate computer-aided design (CAD) drawings and models for bridge structures, working closely with the engineering team to ensure project success from start to finish. Responsibilities: - Develop detailed bridge design and construction drawings using CAD software, following project specifications, engineering standards, and codes. - Collaborate with engineers and team members to understand project requirements and provide technical support during design and construction phases. - Create 3D models and visualizations of bridge structures for design assessment and stakeholder communication. - Prepare and update CAD drawings as necessary, ensuring accuracy and meeting project deadlines. - Conduct regular reviews of designs, identify discrepancies or errors, and provide suggestions for improvements. - Assist in preparing engineering reports, proposals, and specifications related to bridge design and construction. - Maintain a comprehensive archive of CAD files and project documentation for easy access and organization. - Stay updated with the latest CAD software and techniques through professional development opportunities. - Coordinate and integrate CAD drawings and models with other construction-related documents and systems. - Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
