Role Overview: As a highly skilled Software Engineer at HCL Tech, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in C/C++, Data Structures, and Algorithms to design and develop Layer-2/3 networking protocols. Your solid background in problem-solving, software development, and troubleshooting will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate strong programming expertise in C, along with a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. - Utilize in-depth knowledge of networking concepts and routing protocols to contribute effectively to the development process. - Apply hands-on experience in Unicast protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF; Multicast protocols like PIM, IGMP, MSDP; MPLS signaling protocols including RSVP; and Layer-3 VPNs. - Showcase excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to overcome technical challenges. - Collaborate effectively with the team using strong communication and teamwork skills. Qualification Required: - Educational background of BE/B. Tech/M. Tech/MCA. - Experience level required: 3.8 to 10 years. - Work locations available: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad.
