C# Automation Tester

Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Automation Tester with a strong command of C# to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for quality, a deep understanding of automation tools, and a solid background in building test frameworks for web and API-based applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and industry-standard frameworks. Implement and manage UI automation using Selenium WebDriver . Develop and execute API test cases covering authentication (OAuth, Bearer tokens), CRUD operations, and error handling. Create and enhance custom automation frameworks including Modular, BDD (SpecFlow), and Page Object Model. Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Utilize tools like Postman , Fiddler , and SOAP UI for web service testing. Perform database validations and manage test data using complex SQL queries . Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Mandatory Skills: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in C# for automation testing. Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. Proven knowledge of API testing (RESTful services). Familiar with Postman , SOAP UI , and Fiddler for API validation. Experience in developing and implementing frameworks using SpecFlow , BDD, and POM. Good understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Bearer tokens). Proficient in SQL - able to write complex queries for data validation and setup. Exposure to tools like Protractor or Playwright is a plus.
