As a Procurement Specialist at Siemens Energy, your role involves leading and coordinating the purchase and delivery of assigned mechanical commodities such as Hardwares, fasteners, machined parts according to drawings and spare parts for project requirements. You will ensure adherence to Company policies and performance goals. Your key responsibilities will include: - Contributing to securing the achievement of defined Siemens Energy procurement targets and critical metrics per fiscal year. - Completing and following up on Request for Quotations (RfQ) with suppliers, ensuring correctness of supplier/material master data required for ordering. - Processing purchase orders based on project requirements and valid frame agreements. - Following up on purchase orders, including order acknowledgements, and monitoring adherence to delivery dates. - Driving supplier expediting to mitigate contractual risk. - Reporting procurement status to related project collaborators and providing regular updates of project-specific procurement plans. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - Experience in P2P process for machining and fabricated components in the Oil and Gas Industry, with strategic support for assigned components. - Global supplier dealing experience and previous experience in SAP as a user. - A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the industry or engineering environment, with at least 7 years of experience within the function or industry. - Ability to take ownership, think independently, and perform tasks with minimal supervision. - Extensive knowledge and experience of purchasing fundamentals, including solicitation of bids, negotiation, and contract formation. - Effective teamwork and collaboration skills across functions. - Ability to assess and prioritize tasks for yourself and others, demonstrate flexibility, and understand and communicate a sense of urgency.
