The Opportunity: Join the Supply Chain Procurement team to assist in day-to-day operations and collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of components for the Germany Service Centre. How You'll Make an Impact: - Oversee the procurement of goods and services following standard process workflows. - Generate accurate and timely purchase orders, transmitting them to suppliers and expediting deliveries as necessary. - Monitor inventory levels, ensuring timely reordering from suppliers. - Maintain supplier relationships, addressing and resolving any arising issues. - Collaborate with various departments like Project Management, Technical, Logistics, and Finance to ensure operational efficiency. - Proactively resolve conflicts; escalate if necessary to maintain progress. - Adhere to Supply Chain management processes and uphold Hitachi Energy's integrity guidelines. - Ensure compliance with the organization's IS security policy; serve as a role model for the team. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking accountability for actions and fostering a supportive work environment. Your Background: - Bachelor's degree with hands-on experience in SAP MM module. - Proficiency in ERP systems and P2P processes. - Strong command of MS Office tools. - Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English; basic knowledge of German is beneficial. - Engage in close collaboration with stakeholders and functions. - Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet customer expectations. - Possess strong communication and negotiation skills to engage with customers and stakeholders effectively. - Proficient in both spoken and written English.
