Buyer Executive (Procurement & Contracting)

As a Procurement Specialist, you will closely interface with departmental heads to understand their procurement needs and requirements. You will assist the HOD in formulating the appropriate strategy for Non-Medical equipment, consumables, and stores. Your responsibilities will include working with departments for vendor evaluation, preparing internal cost estimates, and conducting vendor qualification assessments. Key Responsibilities: - Interface with end-users to determine Non-Medical equipment requirements and upgrades - Ensure timely procurement to support seamless departmental functioning and achieve high internal customer satisfaction - Meet equipment needs for new clinical pathways and specialties as required In your role, you will also be responsible for quality assurance. This will involve planning and conducting periodic QA/QC audits to ensure adherence to procurement policies and protocols. You will monitor Quality Reports, take necessary actions with vendors in case of quality issues, and participate in organization-wide quality improvement programs. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Procurement, Vendor Management, Contract Management, and Supply Chain Management - Strong knowledge of Inventory Management, Purchase Requisitions, and Healthcare Regulations - Experience in preparing RFQs, conducting vendor assessments, and negotiating contracts - Ability to manage vendor relationships and optimize procurement processes - Familiarity with quality assurance practices and accreditation standards As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the procurement operations of the company, ensuring timely delivery of items, monitoring vendor performance, and upholding ethical values in all dealings.
