Business Manager (India) Resin Trading Specialist

As a Business Manager (India) - Resin Trading Specialist at Stavian, your role will involve assessing and identifying new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a customer database by contacting, collecting inquiries, and sending offers regularly. Your key responsibilities will include: - Buying and selling plastic resins like PP, PE, PET & PVC from Indian producers and distributors - Selling PP, PE, PET & PVC to assigned existing customers and new customers - Representing the company at meetings, conferences in India, and international trade shows to promote the company's trademarks and products - Maintaining and developing relationships with Indian resin producers - Assisting the Branch Manager in monitoring logistics, inventory management, and cargo allocations - Conducting market research to gather market information for price setting in specific markets - Preparing marketing reports on market situations and competitors" products to analyze market trends based on region, season, and customer habits - Developing marketing ideas and strategies to gain potential customers" interest Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of experience in trading polymers in India and international markets - In-depth understanding of the polymer market in India - Willingness to travel abroad or domestically for business trips - In-depth understanding of the latest business policies and regulations Skills: - Demonstrable analytical thinking and business insight - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Outstanding leadership qualities and negotiation skills - Strong time and task management skills - Ability to work independently under high pressure and in a flexible work environment Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade, or related fields. An MBA degree is preferred.
