Business Intelligence Specialist

As a Business Intelligence Specialist based in Ahmedabad, your primary responsibility will be to provide day-to-day support to Analysts and Innovation team. You will be tasked with data investigation and extraction by utilizing advanced SQL and various BI tools to extract data from operational systems and databases. It will be crucial for you to proactively determine the best methods to gather data and solve complex problems efficiently. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will closely work with leadership, architecture, and development teams to facilitate communication, ideate requirements, and propose solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in leading BI development to ensure the quality, ease of maintenance, reusability, and rapid delivery of reports and dashboards for reporting purposes. You will be responsible for automating and streamlining regular required reports with engaging visuals using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, and various data storage structures. Moreover, designing end-to-end processes in accordance with standard design principles and conventions for Developers in preparation for automation will be a part of your daily tasks. Additionally, developing applications and automation on M365 using PowerPlatform, leading projects to integrate multiple manual processes into one application for accurate tracking of resource utilization, and preparing detailed process documentation will be essential aspects of your role. You must have a strong understanding of technical skills such as Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Power Platform, Business Intelligence Concepts, Data Warehousing, ETL techniques, Analytics, Python, and Machine Learning. To excel in this role, you should possess advanced Excel data-mining techniques, excellent data visualization skills with Power BI, and a deep understanding of documented procedures following industry guidelines for Industry Certifications. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and industry certifications related to Business Intelligence will be a plus.
