Business Intelligence Specialist

The purpose of this role is to create and support business intelligence solutions, driving BI requirements with clients and ensuring accurate reporting documentation. You will have a strong understanding of BI tools and technologies, directly interfacing with clients, third-party entities, and other teams. Key responsibilities include possessing a higher-level understanding of database and data management concepts, communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, defining best practices for the design and development of data layers, and participating in client engagements as the reporting Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will collaborate with database administrators, developers, data stewards, and others to ensure accurate collection and analysis of reporting requirements, develop complex worksheets and dashboards for effective storytelling, and create ad-hoc data sets for end users. Additionally, you will develop custom tables/views and data models across various Databases such as SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery, and/or Redshift. This position is based at DGS India in Chennai at Anna Nagar Tyche Towers, under the brand Paragon. It is a full-time role with a permanent contract.,
