Business Intelligence Specialist

As a Business Intelligence Specialist, your main responsibility will involve creating and supporting business intelligence solutions. You will collaborate with clients to drive BI requirements and ensure accurate reporting documentation. It is essential to have a strong understanding of BI tools and technologies. Direct interaction with clients, third-party entities, and other teams will be a crucial part of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrating a higher-level understanding of database and data management concepts and principles. - Communicating effectively, both in writing and verbally, with internal and external stakeholders. - Defining best practices and designing/developing data layers for reporting development and deployment. - Serving as the reporting Subject Matter Expert (SME) in client engagements to deliver reporting solutions. This involves collaborating with database administrators, developers, data stewards, and others to ensure accurate collection and analysis of reporting requirements. - Developing complex worksheets, dashboards for effective storytelling, and ad-hoc data sets for end users. - Creating custom tables/views and data models across various Databases such as SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift.,
