As a key member of the Leadership Committee, the role is pivotal in aligning global business strategy with local execution, building strong customer and partner ecosystems, and developing the next generation of leaders for the organization.
Strategic Mandate:
- Deliver
Vision 2030
: Grow Industrial Hydraulics (Linear & Rotary) from ?1000 Cr to ?1800 Cr revenue with balanced profitability and cash flow discipline. - Strengthen market position across
core and emerging sectors
, leveraging Bosch's multi-technology advantage (Hydraulics, Electric Drives, IoT, Digital Solutions). - Champion
digital transformation
, service excellence, and localization to future-proof the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute
strategic and annual business plans
aligned with the Global Business Unit and Bosch Rexroth India Strategy. - Lead
TAMSAMSOMPoTA
market analysis, identifying growth vectors and white spaces in traditional and sunrise sectors. - Drive
Go-To-Market strategies
for OEMs, end users, and partner networks, ensuring growth across project, series, and service models. - Drive
new business incubation
in sectors such as recycling, hydrogen value chain, waste-to-energy, and renewables.
2. Commercial Excellence
- Own
responsibility
for profitable growth of the Industrial Hydraulics Business. - Ensure
achievement of revenue, EBIT, and cash flow
targets. - Lead
Sales Planning, Administration, and Controlling
, ensuring compliance, governance, and audit readiness. - Build strong
customer relationships
at senior level; personally engage with strategic OEMs, end users and key partners. - Oversee
service business transformation
, creating a scalable, digitally integrated service model.
3. People & Organization Leadership
- Lead a team of 90 employees (7 direct reports) fostering a
purpose-driven, high-performance culture.
- Drive
strategic workforce planning
, capability building, and career development. - Serve as a
culture carrier
upholding Bosch values of innovation, responsibility, and trust. - Develop leadership succession for critical roles, including engineering, sales, and operations.
4. Innovation & Digitalization
- Accelerate digitalization of business processes (CRM, SAP, analytics, and AI-based forecasting).
- Partner with global teams to
localize Industry 4.0 solutions
for Indian market needs. - Leverage
data-driven decision-making
to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction (NPS), and service turnaround.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the
advisory interface to Bosch partner network
, enabling sustainable growth for indirect channels. - Collaborate closely with
global BU leadership
& product management to align innovation priorities. Represent Bosch Rexroth India at key industry forums
, conferences, and government-industry platforms.
Qualifications
- B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering (mandatory).
- MBA or Executive Management qualification preferred.

Experience
- Minimum
20 years
of experience in the Industrial Hydraulics / Automation / Motion Control domain. - At least
5 years in a P&L leadership role
covering Sales, Application, and Service. - Proven track record in
strategic business development, transformation, and people leadership

MNC environments
with exposure to international markets desirable.
