Business Functional Analyst

Your key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis to identify process and data optimization opportunities across Finance Dataset.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Front and Middle Office, Algos and CRDU.
• Deliver process and data improvement to support Straight Through Processing’ and eliminate the manual intervention.
• Engage with colleagues on the ‘Daily Stand-Up’ and provide progress updates and discuss enhancement opportunities.
• Produce analysis and documentation providing a clear audit trail for ongoing improvement and design changes.
• Review and refine source data logic to enhance consistency and accuracy across reporting solutions.
• Contribute to the conceptual design and customisation of data warehouse components
• Maintain updates in the central data repository to track and priorities process enhancements.
• Support the achievement of ongoing efficiency and automation targets across the the reporting processes.

Your skills and experience

• Analytical skills with hands-on experience in high-volume data analysis (Essential).
• Experience of IT analytics tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, and related data processing frameworks (Essential).
• Understanding of Risk Control, Accounting, Treasury, and/or Finance functions.
• Appreciation of Investment Banking products and core regulatory metrics such as RWA, Leverage Ratio, and Capital Adequacy.
• Familiarity with front-to-back system architecture and data flow across banking operations
