Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  1. Strategic Growth & Business Expansion

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the Events & Exhibitions vertical.
  • Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and client segments to drive revenue growth.
  • Achieve annual sales, profitability, and client acquisition targets.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with corporates, government agencies, PSUs, and institutional clients.
  • Lead negotiations, proposals, and closures for high-value exhibition and event projects.
  • Serve as the face of the organization for large clients, maintaining trust and long-term partnerships.

3. Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team.
  • Drive performance metrics, accountability, and result-oriented culture.
  • Foster collaboration with design, production, logistics, and project teams for seamless execution.

4. Revenue & Pipeline Management

  • Drive pipeline generation through networking, alliances, and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage forecasting, budgeting, and profitability for the vertical.
  • Monitor competitive landscape to stay ahead in exhibitions & events business.

5. Brand & Market Positioning

  • Represent P&I at industry forums, trade shows, and business networking platforms.
  • Enhance brand presence through strategic marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
