Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets within the medical billing domain.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including medical facilities, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other relevant entities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the medical billing process, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations to prospective clients.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and report on key insights to senior management.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and cultivate partnerships.
  • Uphold ethical standards and compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development roles within the medical billing industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical billing processes, revenue cycle management, and healthcare reimbursement practices.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
