Business Development Executive Solid Waste Management

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

  • Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, government officials, and key stakeholders. Address and resolve client concerns promptly to maintain trust and credibility. Demonstrate strong relationship-building and selling skills to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Lead Generation & Networking Generate leads within the Solid Waste Management (SWM) industry through effective networking and market research. Explore partnerships with government departments, municipal bodies, and private organizations. Attend meetings with potential clients, decision-makers, and authorities to promote company services.
  • Liaisoning with Government Officials Coordinate with state and local government departments for project approvals, compliance, and documentation. Manage tender processes, including documentation, submission, follow-up, and compliance. Stay updated on state and government regulations related to solid waste management.
  • Tender & Project Management Identify relevant tenders, prepare required documents, and manage end-to-end tender submissions. Follow up on tender status and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of project requirements. Act as a deal-breaker by identifying business opportunities and closing deals effectively.
  • Record Maintenance & Reporting Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, tenders, and follow-ups. Prepare and share weekly/monthly reports on sales metrics, forecasts, and client engagements. Work on MS Office, PDF tools, and other documentation software to ensure accurate and organized reporting.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in the Solid Waste Management (SWM) industry.Strong knowledge of SWM sector, state-level regulations, and government procedures.Proven experience in business development, sales, tender management, and government liaisoning.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in MS Office, PDF handling, documentation, and reporting tools.Ability to travel anywhere within the state as per business requirements.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.Skills: waste management,government,solid waste
