Job Description

As a Business Development Executive at Afterconcepts, you play a crucial role in driving outbound sales for hardware product development services in the North American market. Your expertise in product development, combined with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, will be instrumental in helping businesses bring their ideas to life through engineered products. By building strong relationships with key decision-makers, conducting thorough research, and managing the full sales lifecycle, you will contribute to the success of the company. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers such as CXOs and Product Heads in target companies. - Conduct research on target industries and implement outbound sales strategies to engage prospects in North America. - Take ownership of the entire sales process from prospecting and discovery to pitching, proposing, and closing deals. - Collaborate with design, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on solution architecture. - Utilize CRM tools to build a pipeline, track outreach metrics, monitor win rates, and forecast revenue. Qualifications & Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of B2B sales experience, with a preference for outbound/hunting roles. - Previous experience in selling hardware product development, industrial design, prototyping, or similar engineering services. - Familiarity with or experience in selling into North American markets is highly beneficial. - Strong communication skills, proficiency in professional English, and the ability to grasp complex product/tech requirements. - Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Pipedrive) and a commitment to maintaining accurate sales reporting. - A bachelor's degree in engineering, design, or a related field is a plus. In terms of compensation, the role offers a base salary ranging from 4-8 LPA, along with an accelerated commission structure starting at 3% of closed revenue with no cap. Additionally, there is a Performance Bonus in the form of an Onboarding Success Bonus upon closing early deals, with specific terms discussed during final interviews. Afterconcepts provides a hybrid work environment based in New Delhi, with a preference for candidates who can work on-site due to team proximity. However, full remote work may be considered for highly experienced individuals with a proven track record in US market sales.
