Business Development Executive – Digital Marketing

Job Overview

We are looking for a confident, proactive, and results-oriented Business Development Executive to generate new business opportunities and acquire clients for our digital marketing services.

This is a field-based sales role involving direct market outreach, face-to-face meetings with business owners, relationship building, and sales conversion. You will connect with businesses, understand their marketing needs, and recommend suitable solutions such as Google Ads, website development, SEO, social media management, and other digital marketing services.

The ideal candidate enjoys meeting people, approaching new businesses, presenting services, building professional relationships, and converting potential customers into paying clients.

Key Responsibilities1. Field Sales & Business Development

• Visit local markets and businesses to identify potential clients and new sales opportunities.
• Meet business owners, founders, managers, and other decision-makers in person.
• Introduce company services and initiate conversations with prospective customers.
• Identify businesses that could benefit from digital marketing, website development, Google Ads, SEO, and social media management.
• Generate leads through direct market visits, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
• Develop a pipeline of prospective clients and consistently work toward converting opportunities into business.

2. Client Meetings & Requirement Understanding

• Conduct face-to-face meetings with business owners and potential clients.
• Understand client requirements, marketing goals, business challenges, budgets, and expectations.
• Identify opportunities where digital marketing services can help businesses improve their online presence and reach potential customers.
• Recommend relevant services based on each client's business needs.
• Present company capabilities, service offerings, case studies, and solutions professionally.
• Explain service benefits clearly and answer basic questions from prospective clients.

3. Sales Presentations & Client Conversion

• Conduct sales discussions and present suitable digital marketing solutions to prospects.
• Prepare or coordinate proposals, quotations, and service recommendations.
• Follow up with interested prospects after meetings and presentations.
• Address client objections, clarify concerns, and participate in negotiations and commercial discussions.
• Move qualified prospects through the sales process and convert opportunities into paying clients.
• Maintain regular communication with prospects until a decision is reached.

4. Relationship Building & Networking

• Build and maintain professional relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and referral contacts.
• Develop connections with local businesses to generate repeat and referral opportunities.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach during meetings and follow-ups.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and introduce additional relevant services.
• Represent the company professionally during market visits and business meetings.

5. Sales Tracking & Internal Coordination

• Maintain accurate records of client visits, meetings, follow-ups, proposals, and sales opportunities.
• Track prospect responses, pending discussions, and next steps.
• Keep sales records updated using spreadsheets, CRM software, or internal tracking systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams after client conversion to support a smooth handover.
• Share relevant client requirements and commitments with the appropriate internal teams.
• Provide regular updates on field activities, prospect progress, and business development opportunities.

Knowledge of Google Ads, SEO, website development, social media marketing, or other digital marketing services will be an advantage.
