Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Executive – Digital Marketing to generate new business through direct market outreach, face-to-face meetings, local business networks, and relationship building.

You will identify potential clients, understand their business goals and marketing requirements, recommend suitable digital marketing services, manage follow-ups, and convert qualified prospects into paying clients.

Candidates should be comfortable discussing SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Social Media Management, and Website Design & Development and explaining how these services can help businesses achieve their objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Business Prospecting: Identify potential clients, local businesses, business owners, and decision-makers who may benefit from digital marketing services.
• Direct Market Outreach: Approach prospective clients through in-person visits, business meetings, networking, referrals, and other relevant channels.
• Client Meetings: Conduct face-to-face meetings to understand business requirements, marketing goals, challenges, and budgets.
• Requirement Analysis: Identify client needs and recommend suitable digital marketing solutions based on their business objectives.
• Service Presentation: Explain SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Social Media Management, and Website Design & Development clearly and professionally.
• Lead Qualification: Assess prospects based on their requirements, budget, business potential, and readiness to invest in digital marketing.
• Proposal & Pricing Management: Prepare or coordinate customised proposals, quotations, and service recommendations.
• Follow-Up Management: Maintain consistent communication with prospects and move sales opportunities towards closure.
• Negotiation & Objection Handling: Address client concerns, discuss commercial terms, and negotiate within approved parameters.
• Sales Conversion: Manage qualified opportunities through the sales process and convert prospects into clients.
• Relationship Building: Develop professional relationships with business owners, existing clients, and referral contacts to generate repeat business and new opportunities.
• Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of meetings, prospects, proposals, follow-ups, conversions, and next actions.
• Target Achievement: Take ownership of business development activities and work towards defined sales and revenue targets.
• Internal Coordination: Coordinate with relevant internal teams after conversion to support client onboarding and service handover.

For experienced-level consideration, candidates must have at least 6 months of professional Digital Marketing Sales experience.

Relevant professional sales experience must include selling at least one of the following services:

• SEO
• Google Ads
• Meta Ads
• Social Media Management
• Website Design & Development

Internship experience will not count towards the required 6 months of professional experience.

Experienced Candidates

Candidates with 6 months or more of professional Digital Marketing Sales experience can apply if they have:

• Professional sales experience in at least one of the five digital marketing service areas listed above.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of all five digital marketing services.
• A clear understanding of how digital marketing services are positioned and sold across different business categories.
• The ability to independently manage the sales process, from prospect qualification and client meetings to negotiation and closure.
• Experience working towards defined sales targets, with measurable performance to demonstrate.
• A clear understanding of service pricing, proposals, objection handling, negotiation, and sales-closing strategies.
• The ability to take ownership of leads, conversions, client relationships, and overall sales performance.
• The ability to present previous sales performance using clear numbers, including targets achieved, conversions, and revenue contribution.
