Business Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Support data transformation and integration efforts across insurance domains.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across systems and processes.
  • Drive process improvements and support Agile delivery practices.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support testing, validation, and user acceptance processes.
  • Maintain documentation standards and provide customer support as needed.

Required Experience

  • 57 years of experience in business systems analysis, within Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong understanding of P&C Insurance domains: underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and finance.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data warehouse models.
  • Expertise in data analysis, Agile methodology, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Solid grasp of business analysis techniques and tools.
