You will be joining Kamath & Associates Chartered Accountants in Udupi as a Senior Executive- Audit & Tax. In this full-time on-site role, your main responsibilities will include managing audit assignments, ensuring compliance with GST and Income Tax regulations, and preparing and reviewing financial statements. Additionally, you will supervise junior team members, liaise with clients, and contribute to the development of audit plans and strategies. Your key responsibilities will involve leading and executing statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits for various industries. You will independently handle GST compliance, including returns, reconciliations, and assessments, as well as prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant standards. Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, contributing to office management, and implementing best practices for audit and compliance will also be part of your role. To be eligible for this position, you should have completed your ICAI articleship or have a minimum of 3 years of experience in GST, Accounts, Income Tax, and Audit. A strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and auditing procedures is required. Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is essential. You should also possess a strong sense of responsibility, effective time management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
