Job Description Job Role : Business Associate Exp : Min 8 Max 9 Primary Location: Bangalore Shift: Day Job Job Level: Professional Employee Status: Contractor Description Job summary We are seeking a highly skilled GeoSpatial Developer with 8 to 9 years of experience in Sybase DB Administration Sybase Unix Core Java Production Support and SQL. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during the day shift and will not require travel. This role involves developing and maintaining geospatial applications that support our companys objectives and contribute to societal advancements. Responsibilities Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Core Java to ensure high performance and reliability. Oversee the administration of Sybase databases to ensure data integrity and availability. Provide production support for geospatial applications addressing any issues promptly to minimize downtime. Implement and manage Unix-based systems to support geospatial application infrastructure. Utilize SQL for database queries and data manipulation to support application functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize application performance. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in geospatial application development. Develop and maintain documentation for all geospatial applications and related processes. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of geospatial applications. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development to ensure the companys applications remain cutting-edge. Contribute to the companys overall mission by developing applications that have a positive impact on society. Qualifications • Must have extensive experience in Sybase DB Administration and Sybase. Must have strong proficiency in Unix and Core Java. Must have experience in providing production support for geospatial applications. Must have strong SQL skills for database queries and data manipulation. Nice to have experience in other geospatial technologies and tools. Nice to have experience in hybrid work environments and day shift operations.
