Business Analyst with API

As a Business Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, particularly focusing on API integrations. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. - Translating business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications, specifically for API integrations. - Working closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business goals. - Analyzing and mapping data between systems to support API-based integrations and workflows. - Creating and maintaining user stories, use cases, and process flows. - Conducting impact analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility assessments for new or changing API requirements. - Supporting end-to-end testing efforts, including defining test cases, verifying data accuracy, and coordinating UAT. - Assisting in API documentation review and enhancement for internal and external consumption. - Identifying opportunities to improve business processes and proposing system enhancements. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or product-driven environment. - Proven experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON/XML data formats, and API documentation tools like Swagger and Postman. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Basic understanding of system architecture, integrations, and data flow diagrams. - Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and business process modeling tools. Preferred qualifications for the role include: - Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Background in domains such as fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS platforms. - Exposure to SQL and understanding of relational databases. - Experience working with API management platforms like Apigee or Mulesoft. Additionally, the company requires candidates to have an MBA degree and 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. The position is based in Bangalore (Whitefield) and follows a work-from-office mode.,
