As a Business Analyst in our software projects team, you will play a crucial role in understanding and gathering client software requirements. Utilizing tools like Postman, Superset, and Quicksight, you will analyze requirements, respond to client queries, and develop advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and BI solutions. It will be your responsibility to validate implemented changes in collaboration with the software development team and effectively communicate with developers to clarify client requirements. Ensuring timely, within scope, and within budget delivery of all projects/change requests is a key part of your role. You will be expected to develop detailed project plans using tools like Jira and Confluence, perform risk management, and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Reporting and escalating to management when necessary is also part of the job scope. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field along with 3-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role in software projects. Proficiency in using Postman or similar API development tools, solid analytical skills, and familiarity with data analytic tools like Superset, Quicksight, or Tableau are essential. Strong client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Additionally, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence is expected. Having a PMP / PRINCE II certification would be a plus. The ideal candidate for this role should be a team player with a deep understanding of the software development process. You should be adept at handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills are crucial as you will be bridging the gap between developers and clients, translating technical language into client needs. Your responsibilities will include managing and delivering on project requirements, analyzing data, and presenting it in a clear, understandable manner to support business decision-making and process improvement.
