Business Analyst - Senior

As an IT Product Owner at EY, your role involves driving efficiencies in business design and reducing negative impacts for Business stakeholders. You will identify areas for improvement and provide solutions and technologies to aid Business partners in meeting strategic goals. This position covers both Business and Technical aspects across the Global organization, with regular interactions with External Vendors or Products. Effective staff management is crucial to ensure efficiencies are delivered to the Business. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and prioritize the product backlog. - Translate product managers" strategies into development tasks. - Review, analyze, and evaluate business system requests and user needs. - Assist in planning and implementing changes to active systems and the introduction of new systems. - Gather requirements, analyze processes, and prepare detailed user stories to support business needs. - Conceptualize, prototype, and recommend functional approaches for IT systems and solutions. - Identify business implications of technical solutions and interpret methods and procedures in accordance with industry standards. - Serve as the main point of contact for assigned Business Unit(s) and understand their goals and challenges. - Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest changes effectively. - Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and provide ad-hoc analyses to guide decision-making. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer or Information Sciences or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in the Business/Technical field. - Strong capabilities in handling multiple responsibilities. - Extensive knowledge of how technology enhances performance across Business areas. - Ability to identify opportunities, detail ROI, and present effectively to diverse audiences. - High creativity, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel. - Certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
